BTS has reentered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 33 with "Normal," a track from its fifth studio album Arirang, according to Yonhap. The song's return to the chart follows the recent release of its music video and a Korean-language rendition.
"Normal" originally debuted on the Hot 100 in April at No. 41 and held a chart position for three additional weeks before dropping off. The album's lead single "Swim" climbed 15 positions to No. 85 on the same chart.
Arirang itself continued its momentum, rising 17 spots to No. 9 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Billboard attributed the album's latest surge partly to BTS's headlining performance at the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show last week.
The reentry demonstrates the group's sustained ability to command chart attention across releases, even as individual tracks experience natural chart cycles. For a song to return to the Hot 100 after initial chart run, it typically requires a significant catalyst—in this case, the combination of new visual content and a language-specific version, both of which can reignite fan engagement and streaming activity.
Other K-pop releases also charted this week: Hybe-affiliated girl groups Le Sserafim, Illit and Katseye landed at No. 74 with "Iconic by Mistake" in its sixth week on the Hot 100, down three spots from the previous week. The KPop Demon Hunters original soundtrack, from Netflix's animated film, sat at No. 28 on the Billboard 200.
