Google’s Gemini and BTS unite for Las Vegas Sphere campaign
Google and BTS partnered on a 60-second campaign at the Las Vegas Sphere, merging AI technology with K-pop creativity through imagery tied to the band's recent release and South Korean landmarks.

Google has partnered with BTS on a joint campaign showcasing the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative artistry. The 60-second teaser, which ran at the Las Vegas Sphere until 8 August, featured imagery connected to the band's "Arirang" release, South Korean landmarks, and demonstrations of Gemini's capabilities, according to Yonhap.
The campaign was designed to highlight what emerges when Gemini's AI technology combines with BTS' creative vision, Google Korea said. By positioning the collaboration as a bridge between technological innovation and artistic expression, the initiative signals how major tech companies are exploring partnerships with entertainment figures to humanise their AI tools.
The Sphere, one of Las Vegas' most prominent digital billboards, gave the campaign significant visibility. Its massive LED exterior reaches millions of visitors and locals, making it an ideal venue for a brand partnership aimed at a global audience. The choice to feature BTS—one of the world's most influential music groups—underscores the value tech companies place on connecting with younger, digitally native audiences who follow K-pop.
BTS has a history of high-profile collaborations that extend beyond music, from fashion partnerships to tourism campaigns. This venture into the tech space reflects the group's expanding influence across industries and Google's strategic interest in demonstrating AI's creative potential rather than purely functional applications. The "Arirang" imagery, referencing Korea's traditional folk song and the band's recent release, added cultural specificity to what could have been a generic tech showcase.
