BTS member Jimin's solo track "Who" has officially surpassed 2.5 billion streams on Spotify, according to BigHit Music. Released in July 2024 as the lead single from his second solo album, "Muse," the song reached the milestone on Thursday, marking a career peak for the artist on the platform.

The hip-hop and R&B track explores themes of longing and uncertainty, following the narrative perspective of someone searching for an unmet connection. Upon its debut, "Who" entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 14, before climbing to number 12 the following week. The song maintained momentum on the chart, spending a total of 33 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

The milestone underscores the sustained global appeal of Jimin's solo work. Following his departure from BTS in 2023, when the group entered an indefinite hiatus from group activities, Jimin has built a distinct trajectory as a solo artist. His 2023 debut album "Grace" established his presence in the market, and "Muse" continued that momentum with critical and commercial traction.

The achievement reflects broader patterns in K-pop streaming, where artists with established fanbases leverage both Korean domestic platforms and international services like Spotify to reach global audiences. "Who" joins a growing catalogue of K-pop tracks accumulating billions of streams on the platform, a metric increasingly used to measure commercial success and artist longevity in the streaming era.
