Wimbledon 2027 Tickets: How to Enter the Ballot Before September 2026

Wimbledon 2027 runs June 28 to July 11, with qualifying the week before. If you want tickets without camping overnight, the tournament's annual ballot is your primary option.

The Ballot: Your Main Route

To enter, create a myWimbledon account on the official Wimbledon website and opt into ticket communications. The ballot typically opens in September or October 2026 and stays open for several weeks, closing at 11:59 p.m. on the deadline date. Winners usually learn their outcome by February, receiving an email with their assigned court and date.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets per household. Submit more than one application from the same address, and you'll be disqualified entirely. Importantly, tickets are strictly non-transferable—the lead applicant must attend in person with photo ID.

What You Can't Control

The ballot is random. You don't pick dates, courts, or seats; you accept whatever is allocated. Want to choose? You have two paid alternatives: Debenture tickets (sold through online platforms by Wimbledon investors) or hospitality packages via Keith Prowse, usually released in late summer.

If You Miss the Ballot

If unsuccessful, you gain access to the Ballot Returns Shop—a portal where returned tickets from previous winners, media, and sponsors circulate from March onward, sometimes appearing 24 hours before matches. These are competitive but occasionally available.

American Express Option

Amex cardholders who fail the public ballot can enter a separate Amex draw. You'll receive an invitation in February (this email is not automatic entry—you must apply). Winners have 48 hours to purchase using an Amex card.
