BIGBANG marks 20 years with new single BiiiG
BIGBANG releases new single BiiiG on 19 August, their first track in four years, ahead of a 33-city world tour.

BIGBANG will release a new digital single on 19 August, marking the group's 20th debut anniversary. The track, titled "BiiiG", arrives on 19 August and represents the group's first new material in four years and four months, following "Still Life" in April 2022.
According to YG Entertainment, the single embodies where BIGBANG stands today as it reaches two decades together. "'BiiiG' is the song that most clearly shows BIGBANG's present as it marks its 20th debut anniversary," the agency said in a statement. "We hope you look forward to another musical spectrum from BIGBANG, which has built its own musical world over many years."
The group debuted in 2006 and anchored the second wave of K-pop globally, delivering chart hits including "Lies", "Haru Haru", "Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang". Their return comes as the group scales up its anniversary momentum: BIGBANG launches its world tour, "XX: Cosmos", at Goyang Stadium on 21–23 August, with 33 shows planned across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia through to late 2026.
The release strategy—a single ahead of stadium dates—signals confidence in the group's pull after years away from recording together. For a group that shaped the trajectory of K-pop exports, the new material offers fans and the industry a gauge of how BIGBANG adapts its sound after a substantial hiatus. The tour will be their most extensive run in years and underscores that their anniversary isn't ceremonial; it's a working reset.
