tvN's upcoming drama "My Bias, My Boss" has released a preview of its first two episodes, showcasing a pivotal moment in the story: a woman's nervous wait to hear if she has been hired at her idol's startup.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, the series centres on Nam Da Reum, played by Kim Hye Jun, who abandons her stable job at a major corporation to pursue work at fashion startup Apello, where she hopes to meet her longtime idol bias Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min). The company's CEO is Kang Ha Gi, played by Kang Hoon.
In the preview, Nam Da Reum sits at her desk at her current employer, having already submitted her resignation. As she awaits the hiring results from Apello, she reflects on the magnitude of her decision: "It's really too late for me to turn back now. My resignation has already been processed, and I've already packed up all my stuff… please, Apello, please pick me." When the hiring list is posted at 2 p.m., she discovers she has been selected, moving her closer to her dream of working alongside Lee Chan.
According to Soompi, the drama promises a romantic storyline woven through workplace dynamics, with Nam Da Reum navigating her new role while grappling with her attraction to her idol and her professional obligations.
